Nestled in the verdant countryside of Somerset, “The Barns” stands as an enclave of exclusivity. This case study explores the journey of creating a distinct brand identity and a marketing suite that mirrors the bespoke elegance of this residential development.

At the core of The Barns marketing strategy was the creation of a strong logo identity, one that would not only resonate with the discerning tastes of potential homeowners but also encapsulate the essence of its highly sought-after setting. The logo set a precedent for the brand, influencing every aspect of the marketing collateral that followed.

The sales brochures and digital brochure became the centre of the story, offering a glimpse into the lifestyle that The Barns promised, crafted to highlight the unique features of the development, of a home that was as functional as it was aesthetically pleasing.

Our CGI imagery was meticulously designed to reflect the architectural precision that went into the creation of the scheme. Every image was a testament to the development’s immaculate attention to detail—both interior and exterior. These large, beautifully crafted homes were presented in their truest form, allowing potential buyers to appreciate the high calibre of the development’s offerings.

Taking the visual experience a step further, animated CGI films brought the essence of The Barns to life. Each frame of the animation painted a picture of the development in motion, from the dappled light through the leaves of an old oak tree to the flickering warmth of a fireplace in a spacious living room. These films were not merely marketing tools; they were invitations to a new chapter of life, enticing buyers with the promise of an idyllic home.

The Barns case study is a testament to the power of cohesive, well-thought-out branding and marketing. It shows how a strong visual and narrative identity can capture the imagination of the market and convey the intrinsic value of a high-quality residential scheme.

Embarking on the commercial facet of ‘Seventy One Cornwall St’, the commercial aspect of ‘The Lightwell,’ a mixed-use gem in the bustling Colmore District of Birmingham, presented a unique opportunity to highlight the seamless integration of luxury residential elements into a vibrant commercial hub. The ground floor of Seventy One was a canvas on which the narrative of high-end commerce blended with the essence of refined living.

Our strategy for Seventy One was to extend the residential allure into a commercial proposition that beckoned premium tenants. The challenge was to create a marketing strategy that resonated with both luxury establishments and their discerning clientele, a narrative that would echo throughout the Colmore District’s renowned streets.

The commercial aspect of Seventy One demanded a distinctive approach. By leveraging the residential project’s established branding, we crafted a complementary commercial identity that felt both familiar and excitingly new. This identity was then translated into a suite of marketing materials that carried the residential prestige into commercial spaces, promising an atmosphere of exclusivity and quality.

The CGI imagery for Seventy One was designed to showcase not just the architectural details but also the potential of a thriving commercial scene. These visuals captured the essence of the development: sleek, modern, and teeming with life. The images allowed potential tenants to envision their businesses within the dynamic environment of Seventy One.

Among the successes of this commercial venture was attracting the David Lloyd Blaze gym, a brand synonymous with modernity and vigour. The appeal of Seventy One also extended to fine dining establishments, which found a home amidst the elegance of the scheme. The marketing materials emphasised the quality of the development and the lifestyle it offered, making it an irresistible location for businesses aiming to stand out in Birmingham’s competitive landscape.

In the tranquil and picturesque setting of Mottram Saint Andrew, a Cheshire village known for its serene beauty, a unique project came to life. Tasked with a challenging yet inspiring brief, Oakfield set out to create a suite of high-end CGI images. These visuals were not just to support a planning application; they were to tell the story of an architectural vision coming to fruition in harmony with its environment.

The project’s centrepiece was a contemporary, highly stylised home that exemplified modern architectural prowess. Our objective was to showcase this home in a way that highlighted its ground-breaking design and environmental considerations while ensuring it seamlessly blended into its landscape.

A key concern was the home’s visibility from the village entrance and the adjacent quiet road. Our CGI imagery had to address this by illustrating that the new structure would maintain the quaint village’s visual integrity. We employed sophisticated visualisation techniques to accurately depict the home’s positioning and scale, demonstrating its unobtrusive presence in the landscape.

Beyond just addressing visibility concerns, our visuals aimed to capture the essence of the home’s architectural brilliance. The CGIs showcased the clean lines, innovative use of materials, and the overall aesthetic that set this home apart. Part of this narrative was its green credentials – the imagery highlighted features like sustainable materials, energy-efficient designs, and integration with natural elements, all pivotal to the home’s identity.

Perhaps most crucially, our visuals depicted how the landscaping was an integral part of the home’s design ethos. The landscaping was not just an addition; it was a strategic element that softened the contemporary structure, allowing it to nestle gently into the extensive greenery.

This planning CGI case study for the home in Mottram St Andrew exemplifies how thoughtful, high-quality visualisations can play a crucial role in bringing ambitious architectural projects to life, ensuring they resonate not just with planning committees but also with the communities they are set to become a part of.

In the waterside port town of Hayle, Cornwall, a landmark project is taking shape – South Quay. Set in a unique peninsula setting, surrounded by water, with views of the town, countryside and out towards the beach and sea, this development promises an exclusivity of luxury waterside apartments. Oakfield was entrusted with a mission to encapsulate the essence of South Quay through our expert CGI visualisations.

The challenge was twofold: to showcase the aesthetic appeal of the development’s architecture and to illustrate its harmonious integration into the quayside area of Hayle.

Our approach to the CGI imagery was meticulous and multi-layered. We sought to capture the architectural elegance of South Quay and its sense of exclusivity. The visuals highlighted the development’s sophisticated facade and the unobstructed views that each residence would enjoy.

But beyond the aesthetics our imagery also needed to convey South Quay’s role in the broader narrative of Hayle. It was imperative to demonstrate how this development would enrich the quayside area – adding vibrancy, attracting visitors, and enhancing the locale’s overall appeal. Our visuals, therefore, included wider shots of the development’s placement within its setting, showcasing its symbiotic relationship with the surrounding environment. The images portrayed South Quay as a natural extension of the town’s coastal character, not an imposition upon it.

This case study of South Quay is a testament to the power of CGI in not only presenting a vision but also in weaving that vision into the existing social and environmental fabric. It demonstrates how strategic visual storytelling can be instrumental in showcasing a development’s potential and in aligning a community with its future.

In the picturesque settings of the Cotswolds, Mackenzie Miller Homes embarked on a journey to create residential developments that would seamlessly meld into the local landscapes and rural villages. The challenge was not just to build homes, but to blend new schemes into the fabric of these historic settings. This is where Oakfield stepped in with a mission to bring this vision to life through our specialised planning CGI creation.

Our in-house CGI team was tasked with a pivotal role: to produce a suite of images that would not only support several planning applications but also encapsulate the essence of Mackenzie Miller Homes’ developments. The goal was to showcase the beauty of Cotswold stone architecture, a hallmark of the region, while ensuring that these new developments were presented as a natural extension of the existing landscapes.

The approach was intricate and thoughtful. Blending “before” real-life photography with ”after” CGI visualisations, we crafted images that told a story — a narrative of integration and respect for the local vernacular.

Context was the cornerstone of our CGI creations. It was imperative that each visual not only showcased the architectural detail but also how these homes would harmoniously settle into the rural settings. Our images were designed to convey a sense of belonging — demonstrating that the new developments by Mackenzie Miller Homes would complement, not detract from, the tradition of each location.

The success of these projects stands as a testament to the power of CGI in bridging the gap between conceptual planning and community-conscious development.

Urban renewal meets commercial vibrancy

Our journey with Quadrangle in the heart of Cheltenham, began with a bespoke brand strategy that echoed the unique character of the development and resonated with the aspirations of a diverse clientele. The strategy was a roadmap, guiding the creation of sophisticated marketing materials that distinctly yet cohesively represented the retail and office facets of the project.

Sales brochures were designed not just to inform but to entice, giving prospects a tangible sense of place and potential. These brochures, coupled with extensive site hoarding graphics, transformed the construction site into a canvas, capturing the imagination of passersby and painting a vision of the future.

Quadrangle’s narrative unfolded further through our state-of-the-art CGI imagery. Prospective tenants were invited on a visual journey through the development’s proposed retail spaces, a cutting-edge gym, contemporary office settings, and the pièce de résistance—a rooftop restaurant and bar offering panoramic views. These visuals were not mere representations; they were invitations to experience and engage with the space.

The impact on our client was multifaceted. The Quadrangle’s marketability surged, capturing the attention of discerning tenants. The meticulously crafted sales materials streamlined the leasing process, while the commanding site graphics ignited the local community’s interest. For the tenants, the promise of Quadrangle was clear: a vibrant, modern space that catered to their business needs while providing an elevated experience for their customers. The premium amenities, including a bustling south-facing plaza and rooftop dining, offered a lifestyle synergy that urban professionals seek.

Quadrangle stands not just as a structure but as a landmark of Oakfield’s innovative approach, where every project is a dialogue between space and possibility.

A bespoke collection of one and two bedroom apartments, presenting the best of contemporary living on Bristol’s historic Harbourside, for which the supporting marketing needed to create a sense of place in the minds of prospective purchasers.

Situated on Spike Island, Bristol, the key aspect of this development is its highly desirable, much sought after location. Placemaking was absolutely central to the development of the materials, conveying to prospective buyers the sense that owning a Stonemason Yard apartment would make the entire Harbourside their home.

The development’s sharp architectural design was reflected and enhanced through the aesthetics of the branding, sales brochure and website look and feel, in order to resonate with the target demographics.

A refurbishment of a beautiful Victorian villa into six luxury apartments.

A high end, feature-rich refurbishment meant that the brand and sales collateral needed to mirror the attention to detail and rarity of the properties.

The CGIs performed a critical role in the sales journey, portraying the retained original features, married with a contemporary specification. These allowed the viewer to truly understand the quality of the apartments, immersing themselves into the lifestyle offered. The finishing touches on the brochure such as metallic inks, high quality paper stock and gold foil blocking, brought a tangible understanding of the quality of this scheme.
